Tzig’Art
Tzig’Art is both a label and a producer of music, dance, and film, as well as a hosting structure for modern transdisciplinary works, and new, multifarious, and unexpected creative forms.
Tzig’Art is a creative incubator with an international reach. Clotilde has been its artistic director since 2011. From the original term “tziganie,”—a descriptor for Slavic and Gypsy music—she has retained the hybridization, as well as the nomads’ insatiable capacity for exploration and wonderment.
Tzig’Art is able to provide a space conducive to creative impulses and exploration by involving institutional networks and finding partner venues for residencies. A real creative archipelago of unique artists is brought together by the ethos of interdisciplinarity and “uncertain synchronicities” that are so central to Clotilde’s existence and creative world.
The Tzig’Art association has been supported by the DRAC Île-de-France since 2020. It is part of the Zone Franche network, FELIN, and the MEWEM network.
